2008泰國旅遊獎暨泰國之友(人鳥獎)得獎名單
 

這個獎是由泰國觀光局於1996年所創辦，目的是為了要激勵私人及公共 旅遊相關組織，對於保護泰國的天然及文化資源不餘遺力，並且努力不懈的推廣觀光發展。

泰國旅遊獎將分為六個獎項，包括最佳觀光旅遊景點(自然、文化、歷史、休閒、都市及地方)；三個最佳旅館住宿(城市、議會及度假旅館)；兩項最佳旅遊行程 (國內及國外)；兩項最佳保護/保存(組織及計劃方案)；及五個最佳旅遊報導獎(大眾平面媒體、優良印刷、電視、廣播、網路及科技)。

評審委員會包括泰國藝術部、林業部、環保品質推廣部、泰國旅館協會、泰國旅行業同業公會、及泰國觀光協會等公私立機構所組成。

最重要的評鑑標準在於創新及在自然 / 文化維護上所扮演的角色。根據泰國觀光局表示："評審團是依據公正以及對旅遊觀光的豐富經驗而選出，我們希望這個獎維持最高水準，並且獲得所有大眾的肯定 與接受。""在全球觀光業的激烈競爭之下，加上環保旅遊的發展趨勢，讓我們不斷的提升品質，以達到國際水準。""泰國觀光局由衷的希望這這些旅遊獎可以全 面推廣泰國旅遊業，鼓勵更多大眾旅遊業及觀光相關產業全力支持保育自然的觀光資源。同時讓世界其他友國及合作伙伴見到泰國對觀光業的發展與用心從不間斷。

" 泰國旅遊獎將在每一項目中評選出最高分者，在經過二次的決選中，評選出得獎的計劃方案及組織。獎項是一座"人鳥"造型雕像，是泰國傳說中象徵美與純真之 神。人鳥一手握著蓮花，另一手握著一隻鴿子，分別代表威信與和平。

今年台灣地區獲頒獎項者，旅遊業者：天海旅行社、航空公司：中華航空、媒體記者：林純玉小姐、個人獎：吳建恆先生，非常感謝得獎者，不管是旅遊相關單位或 個人，對於泰國的支持。
