泰國美食 (3/4) – 東北部地區Taste of Thailand (3/4) – The Northeast

The Northeast is perhaps the least-known region to the average visitors. Yet, I-san covers a third of Thailand’s total area, contains many sights of historical interest, and has a highly distinctive culture and cuisine of its own.

 

Northeasterners like their food highly seasoned and many connoisseurs of Thai cooking rank some typical I-san dishes a being among their favorite creations. These include Som Tam (green papaya salas), Lap (spicy minced meat or chicken salad) and Kai Yang (barbecued chicken). Freshwater fish and shrimp are also popular, often cooked with herbs and spices.

 

對一般觀光客而言，東北地區或許是最陌生的，然而伊森卻涵蓋了全泰國三分之一的面積，有許多具有歷史價值的名勝，並有 獨特的文化和菜餚。

 

東北人喜歡重口味的食物，許多泰國美食鑑賞家將一些具代表性的伊森菜餚評為他們最愛的美食作品，包括Som Tam〈青木瓜沙拉〉、Lap〈辣絞肉或雞肉沙拉〉和Kai Yang〈烤雞〉，淡水魚蝦也很受歡迎，通常和草本植物及香料一起烹調。

【對等連接詞】
對等連接詞〈最常用的為and, but〉可用來連接名詞、動詞、形容詞或子句等，顧名思義，對等連接詞必須要連接對等的部分，意即在英文文法上具有相同地位的部分：


例句：
1.連接單字

他喜歡打棒球和籃球。
2.連接形容詞

她是個美麗又聰明的女孩。
3.連接子句

第一段第一句即為連接詞的應用，本句的主詞為伊森，對等連接詞為and，由句中可以看到and是連接三個動詞 (covers, contains, has)，而連接詞是使用在最後兩個對等的部分，前面對等的部分用逗號隔開即可。
